MIT Strategic Plan & Values
Strategic planning is a process in which an organization’s leaders define their vision for the future and identify their organization’s goals and objectives. Usually, MIT’s strategic plan is a text-heavy document, and they wanted me to redesign it in a way that would be easier to read and digest, and inclusive of both Māori and Pasifika. To make it visually appealing, I created icons, infographics, and a weave pattern using Māori and Pasifika motifs, signed off by the Marae team. The weave ties in with MIT’s Kaupapa a rich tapestry of understanding and diversity. This weave pattern has now become MIT’s internal brand pattern, used to connect our values and used on office glass wall privacy decals and even used on our new campus building Techpark's facade.
